REGISTRATION OPENS ON JULY 1, 2013.
1) CHECK THE STATUS OF YOUR VCS MEMBERSHIP: You can only register for the conference at the VCS member rate if you are a current member of VCS. If you are unsure of your status, visit the Member Locator page here, put your last name in the appropriate field and press Search. If your listing comes up, your membership is current. You can then register using the VCS member rates.
If your listing does not come up, either your membership has expired, you have never been a member of VCS or your record is marked as DO NOT PUBLISH ONLINE. If you feel this information is an error, contact Sandi Strother at VetCancerConference@yahoo.com and I will check the status of your membership.
Those who have never been a member can join online. On this page, simply enter your email address and that will become your log in ID. Once you log in, you will go to the online store and pay for your membership. For those who need to renew their membership, we recommend that you log in to your previous account, pay your 2013 membership fee, then come back and register for the conference. If you have difficulty with this process, contact Sandi Strother at VetCancerConference@yahoo.com. Those people who use the VCS member rate to register but are not members will be required to pay the additional fee prior to, or at, the conference.
Membership in VCS expires on December 31, 2013 and those who renew their membership at any time in 2013 in order to pay the member registration rate will be expected to pay the 2014 membership fee in January. Those who have NEVER been a member of VCS and join after September 1st will remain a member until the end of 2014. Please note that due to the difference in member and non-member registrations rate, it is typically more beneficial for non-members to join VCS in order to receive the reduced registration rate.
2) DECIDE CAREFULLY IF YOU WILL ATTEND THE AWARDS RECEPTION: The cost of the Awards Banquet is included in your registration fee, however, it is a very expensive function as I’m sure you realize. Please consider this carefully when you decide whether you will attend the event or not. If you select YES, we will be purchasing a ticket for you. If we purchase your ticket but you do not attend, we will not receive a refund. All guests over the age of 4 must pay the guest ticket fee .
3) AFTER REGISTERING, BOOK YOUR HOTEL ROOM IMMEDIATELY: The group block will open on July 1st and you will find an online registration link on the accommodations page at that time.
